It's Time to Start Planting!

Gardening made easy. Plant your seedlings in these pots, which can be placed directly into the ground. The pot will degrade and roots will grow into the soil. No plastics to recycle, and no harmful chemicals leech into the ground with our spruce fiber pots.

These 4 inch pots are perfect for starting vegetables like tomatoes or starting tree seedlings. Organic, nutrient-rich peat naturally integrates with the root ball of the plant and promotes aeration, preventing root circulation and transplant shock. Start vegetables, trees and herbs early, and watch your garden flourish!

Our pots for seeds, starters, and saplings are made with 100% natural and biodegradable materials and are OMRI-certified for organic growing.

Whether you're an urban gardener excited to start your own windowsill herb garden, a busy mom looking to grow your food at home while teaching your kids how to garden, a pro-gardener who just can't wait to get this year's crop ready to go, or anyone in between, these pots are what you need to get planting. Working with plant seedlings

For six years, I cared for my trumpet plants. They got a disease and died. I couldn't find plants, so I purchased cuttings. I could find plastic little pots everywhere but was told to purchase fiber pots you could eventually replant them in. I couldn't find what I wanted at other big box stores, so I went back to Amazon. I found these and ended up purchasing two different sizes. They worked so well that I've made cuttings and replanted other varieties. They saved me much aggravation.

Tomato starts are off to a good start!!!

Excellent product. Super-easy to transplant when time to re-pot or plant outdoors. Roots penetrate easily, preventing root-bound stunted plants. Great improvement!!! Before I found Daniel's Naked Pots, I used 2-inch peat pots for the seed germination stage. Not such a good idea. The peat was too impenetrable and the roots were becoming bound up. Transplanting into these non-peat 4-inch pots, the starts grew rapidly and the roots eventually grew through these plantable pots. No need to remove these Naked Pots; just placed them in gallon pots, awaiting the great outdoors, where they will be placed in the garden soil. Next year I will begin with Daniel's Naked Pots.

Roots rotted in these pots - stayed too wet

I transplanted tomatoes to these pots and within a few days lost over 60% of them. Repotted the strugglers to plastic and discovered the roots were rotting! Peat style usually dries out for me - these held too much water and the plants root-rotted I only watered them once - at time of planting, and they were water logged when I dumped them. Same type of plants repotted up into plastic and same soil are thriving.
