Indoor Potting Mix for Healthy Houseplants

Daniel’s Plants Indoor Potting Mix is a clean, easy-to-use soilless blend made for strong, healthy indoor growth.

Each compact bag expands up to four times when you add water, giving you up to 10 quarts of lightweight, well-draining mix. Use it for repotting houseplants or starting seeds.

Lightweight and Easy to Use

Add water and watch the mix expand into a soft, aerated growing medium.

The lightweight texture makes it easy to handle, pour, and work with indoors. It keeps your setup clean while still giving your plants the structure they need to grow.

Supports Strong Root Growth

The aerated structure allows roots to spread easily while letting excess water drain through.

This helps prevent soggy soil and reduces stress on your plants, especially in indoor environments where overwatering is common.

Consistent Moisture, No Dry Pockets

Unlike peat-based soils that repel water when dry, this mix absorbs water quickly and evenly.

As a result, moisture spreads consistently throughout the pot, helping your plants stay hydrated without constant adjustments.

Naturally Enriched for Steady Growth

This mix includes kelp, worm castings, and beneficial microorganisms that support plant health from the start.

These natural inputs feed your plants for up to six months, helping maintain steady, balanced growth over time.

Compact and Easy to Store

The resealable bag keeps everything clean and contained between uses.

Store it easily, use only what you need, and avoid dealing with large, messy soil bags.

    Go Green

Choose our OMRI-listed degradable pots made with just one thing—spruce fibers (a forestry by-product). Let's help make gardening greener! These pots are environmentally friendly, and we provide bonus degradable plant labels with your order. Contains no environmentally unsustainable peat, or harmful lead-filled paper.

    Roots Grow Through

Prevent transplant shock and root circulation by planting the entire root ball into the soil. Due to the porous, thin-walled design, the roots grow right through, so there's no need to disturb the delicate root system of your seedlings by pulling them out of conventional pots.

    Porous Pots = Better Drainage

Water drains right through, no need for drainage holes. Just plant your veggies, herbs, saplings or even tropical plant cuttings, and watch them grow! Then, when they're big enough to be transplanted, you can plant the whole pot in the soil. Once surrounded by moisture, it will degrade naturally.

    Forget Plastic

For a green industry, gardening sure does use a LOT of plastic! By choosing plantable pots, you're reducing the amount of plastic nursery pots that end up thrown out and in the landfill.
