Simply set the shelf on your window sill (must be firmly set on base of the window, not suspended), and attach with the supplied velcro strips. Then place your plants, and enjoy! Every shelf is handmade in Canada with locally-sourced pine, and stained by hand. Each package includes silicone with an applicator to affix the three included glass shelves into the wooden frame. Our original design, these renter friendly, no-drill plant shelves hold up to a 4 inch pot on each of the three shelves. This side window shelf is made with quality parts. You have to glue the shelves in and wait 24 hours for the glue to cure before use. They include the silicone glue. The velcro tape that is on the shelf is very strong. You can always add more for a more secure shelf if need be. I put the shelf higher up than the instructions stated. I wanted more room on the bottom. So far so good . The shelf has not come loose or fallen off in more than a month in the hot sun. I feel this is a wonderful space saving item great for all plant people.
This is a nice looking plant shelf. It was simple to put together. The shelf is secured with adhesive Velcro, so you can remove it if you want. When supported on the bottom per the instructions it can support enough weight for three small plants comfortably. My only issue with the product is that the shelf support is made from stained pine, which isn't the highest quality wood. Although, it does look nice. For the price it's OK value.
I was quite impressed with this window sill shelf!The wood is pretty hefty quality and the glass is really thick. The silicone glue seems to hold really well, though I would have rather not have had to secure the glass shelves on my own. It comes nicely packaged.It was too big for my window sill, so I put it in between two windows. It has been holding nicely for a week.
